Formed on June 6th 1946, by Boston Garden-Arena Corporation president Walter A. Brown as a team in the Basketball Association of America, the precursor to the NBA, The Celtics quickly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. Under the guidance of coaching legend Red Auerbach, the Celtics laid the foundation for a dynasty that would dominate the NBA for decades to come.

In 2008, the Celtics added another chapter to their illustrious history, with the "Big Three" made up of Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen brought championship glory back to Boston, capturing the team's 17th NBA title. Led by head coach Doc Rivers, showcasing a blend of veteran leadership and youthful energy that captivated fans and solidified their place in basketball lore.
